SharpEye Flame Detection
|
|
|
Spectrex SharpEye Flame Detectors incorporate advanced
optical spectral analysis of flames and are contained in rugged,
explosion-proof aluminum or stainless steel housings. The detectors
operate reliably in the harsh conditions of offshore drilling and
production platforms, FPSO vessels, fuel loading facilities, LNG and LPG
plants, oil refineries, aircraft hangars, paint spray booths, gas turbine
power stations, and chemical and petrochemical plants. These detectors
employ the latest UV (Ultra Violet), IR (Infrared), UV/IR (Ultra Violet
and Infra Red), IR3 (Triple IR Multi-Spectrum Detection)
systems and the new unique CCTV and IR3 flame detection
technologies.

SafEye Optical Open-Path
Gas Monitoring Systems
|
|
|
The SafEye range of line-of-sight optical
gas detectors features a new generation of Open-Path IR and UV detection.
These systems employ unique flash light sources coupled with optical
detectors and mathematical algorithms to spectrally analyze an air path
ranging from 1 ft. to 459 ft. (0.3m - 140m) with detection sensitivity of
as low as 5 PPM in both UV and IR spectral bands. SafEye's unprecedented
reliability in real-time monitoring of gaseous emissions over large areas
renders it the accepted technology for industrial and environmental
applications. SafEye was evaluated and approved as part of the EPA/Battelle
ETV program.

Military Systems S.A.F.E (Spectrex
Automatic Fire Extinguishing)
|
|
|
The Spectrex line of military vehicle fire and
explosion detection and suppression systems is successfully protecting
personnel from skin burns and pressure shocks. The systems suppress gas or
vapor explosions in less than 150 milliseconds, with a speed of response
of less than 3 milliseconds. Suppression is activated in less than 5
milliseconds to discharge and disperse the agent, thus providing a uniform
extinguishing concentration.
